iStock_000003856979XSmall This article from Computerworld shows that justice is catching up with criminal hackers around the world. According to the article:

  • Farid “Diab10″ Essebar, author of the Mytob, Rbot and Zotob trojans, is in prison in Morooco.
  • Ivan Maksakov, Alexander Petrov, and Denis Stepanov are in prison in Russia thanks a botnet they created.
  • Robert Moore defrauded internet telephone companies by hacking their network. He is now in prison in the USA.

According to some security experts, there is a perception in the criminal hacker fraternity that they are immune. Not so.
