Symantec’s latest Spam report is out and reveals some interesting trends:
- Spam accounts for 70.5 percent of all email traffic
- Spammers are playing on green issues: “Click away the Carbon” is a typical scam
- MP3 audio spam is also on the rise – this gets around many spam filters
- Fraud and scams account for 18% of all spam
