Where to report fraud.

by Tony Neate on March 28, 2010

Get Safe Online has now linked up with the National Fraud Authority and Action Fraud.

With Action Fraud UK citizens can now report fraud far easier than ever before. By reporting fraud, anti-fraud agencies are provided with the vital information they need to protect us all from fraudsters. At the same time helping to bring the offenders to justice.

Action Fraud refers all cases of fraud to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau which is run by the police service. Although each report cannot be investigated individually, the information you provide will aid the police to build up a national picture of fraud. This will help make the UK a more hostile place for fraudsters to operate in and keep other potential victims safe.

I received today an email saying I was the lucky beneficiary of G20 Award notidication, saying that the Prime Minister Mr. JAMES Gordon after the meeting held in London april2nd instructed me to be one of the benefiaries, that I should receive twice a week the amount of $7500 for the period of 6 month total amount $360000, but in order to receive the money I have to transfer the amount of $270 via westerunion to the Inertnational |Monetary Fund to Mr Gary Moore at |National Tower- Liverpool L70 1NL. The email I received from Mrs Larisa Alexander. I think its a scan and I am sure I am not the only one receiving such an email

I have tried to report an ongoing fraud and found it extremely difficult to do so.The fraudsters are defrauding gas , electric companies, local councils ,and mail order companies out of thousands of pounds and have been doing so for some years.
I would gladly report all information but as I am not able to remain anonymous I cant.
